Meat Loaf

Create a new family favorite. Add a twist of CHA CHA to this meatloaf recipe. It’s comfort-food with extra ZEST!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef.
  • ½ pound ground pork or ground turkey.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1 small onion – chopped.
  • ½ green bell pepper – chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
  • 1 cup milk.
  • 1  1/4 cups dried breadcrumbs.
  • Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce (divided).
  • ½ to 1 cup of Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA (any flavor).
  • ½ cup ketchup.
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons mustard.

Directions

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350° F, lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • Step 2: Combine meat, egg, onion, bell pepper, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, and Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA in a bowl.
  • Step 3: Mix ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and 2nd tsp of Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Spread on top of the meat mixture.
  • Step 4: Bake in the oven until it reaches an internal temperature of 160° F, approximately 60-75 minutes.
